Hard drive capacities continue to grow thanks to helium gas filling.
Helium is "lighter" than air, which means the molecules are less densely packed and therefore generate
less heat and turbulence due to friction. As a result, the read/write heads inside a hard drive can move
more easily, and the magnetic disks where data is stored can be made thinner. This allows for more magnetic
disks to fit inside a hard drive casing, increasing capacity.
In 2024, this capacity reaches 24TB per hard drive and up to 288TB in a VIDEOSTATION® RAID. As always, exclusively with a 5-year warranty!

With the third generation of Ryzen Threadripper, AMD achieves a similar breakthrough as in early 2017, when the first rumors about high-end processors emerged. The chip manufacturer not only significantly increases the clock speed of the Ryzen Threadripper 3000 but also integrates enhanced Zen 2 cores with improved performance per clock cycle.
The Gran Montaña 2021 comes with AMD’s latest CPU featuring 64 cores, 128 threads on a 7nm process.
These transistors switch even faster than the 14nm predecessor, which is why the turbo clock now reaches a maximum of 4.5GHz. This is beneficial for all programs that support multi-core calculations.
This model offers the best price-performance ratio per core and clock cycle. Furthermore, for the first time, it surpasses the 2 TeraFlop****** mark for desktop processors. The CineBench score is a spectacular 25,500.
The new models are available with HSS high-speed video storage as well as VRAID® or even combined options.
