• NEW! Starting in January 2012

  INTELs latest processor generation "Sandy Bridge" (32nm) is going to be used. The 6-core-processors, which are announced for spring 2012, will round up our well known Montaña grande product line in the builds "Standard", "High End" and "Extreme". Only the Montaña grande Extreme model stays unchanged, for the absence of a well-performing cooling solution fitting the Sandy Bridge flagship 3960X. But there is no need to rush; the actual Montaña grande Extreme with build-in INTEL 990X CPU is running stable at amazing 4.13GHz (Super Tuning Packet).
  Plus, we will present to you the cost-efficient ECO-model, which leaves the RAID- enclosures and the BluRay out, but keeps the performance of full 64-bit-video-editing up at an unbeatable price.
  
  
• NEW! In June 2011

  there will be a 2-processor-maschine available. That models name will be VIDEOSTATION NUCLEO, it has got 2 Intel XEON X5680 CPUs under the Hood and runs witch epic 12 processor-cores, handling 24 Threads at the same time. The RAID will have 8 (actual max. 6) front site drive bays and supports the faster SATA 600. On top of that, the VIDEOSTATION NUCLEO comes with 48GB super fast DDR3-RAM, 24GB each processor. A special Highlight will be the 3D-virtualization, allowing the users to share the render power of the VIDEOSTATION NUCLEO over the network. This way, an expensive GPU, like the NVIDIA Quadro 5000 can be used by multiple users at the same time. Also the enormous processing power can be shared, too. Best part about all this is, the RAM is allocated dynamically.
  The VIDEOSTATION NUCLEO with 2x X5680 and 46GB RAM will be 7.750,- EUR incl. MwSt. (which is 2.000,- EUR less than a comparable HP Z800 without the RAID).
  
  
• NEW! Starting in February 2011

  all VIDEOSTATION Montaña grande Models of the 64-bit-series will be facelifted. From then on there will be 2x USB 3.0, 2x Gigabit-Ethernet-Schnittstelle and up to 24GB RAM at delivery. The new cardreader, supporting SDXC-Camcorder-Cards (up to 2TB, which are 2.048GB!) and eSATAp (to connect fast external harddisks without the need of additional power supply) will come with all models. With that, VIDEOSTATION will get a new look, you can see in the right panel!
  
  
• Update! Starting in May 2010

  the new XEON 5570 CPU will be available for the VIDEOSTATION. The double QPI-Link will speed up all data transfer between CPU and chipset considerably. The new model will be called Montaña Grande XEON 64bit.
  
  
• Update! Since December 2009

  a Montaña Grande with a fast and moderately priced Core i5 750 with a 4 x 2.66 GHz clock rate is available. Except for Hyperthreading®, it supports all the latest technologies* like virtualization and Turbo Boost© which are also featured by Core i7 models.

• Update! In June 2009

  the fast Extreme Edition Core i7 975 with 3.33 GHz clock rate is now available. Due to its attractive pricing it has been integrated into the new Montaña Grande Extreme i7 64bit model.
  
  
• Update! In June 2009

  customers owning »Windows 7 Professional und Ultimate Editions will have the option to downgrade to Windows XP Professional (»N-2« Downgrade). This option will be available for PCs purchased within 18 months since the official release of Windows 7 (October 22, 2009) or until a service pack for Windows 7 will be released – whichever occurs first, as Microsoft says.
  
  
• Update! In May 2009

  Microsoft officially cancels all versions of VISTA for developers and commercial users, instead recommending the upcoming Windows 7. However, it will take some time until the operating system announced for early 2010 is flawlessly handling all editing software. As there will be no downgrade option, we recommend using Windows XP and guarantee availability and support. For editing software that is running under Vista only, the OS will be officially available until further notice.
  
  
• Update! In November 2008

  the production of the Core i7 940 and 965 Extreme will be cancelled soon. Presumably at Computex in June 2009 a Core i7 950 with 3.06 GHz and a faster Extreme Edition core i7 975 with 3.33 GHz clock rate will be introduced. It should become available by the beginning of July 2009.

19"-Studio-Version

This is a real space saver amongst 4RU racks and a must-have for any professional studio. It is robust and reliable like almost no other rack due to doubly welted and deburred edges and use of 1mm strong SECC steel throughout. It is particularly suitable for use as a video server thanks to it’s up to ten front side 5 1/4" enclosures (expandable with up to 15 externally accessible SATA-HDDs using SATA backplanes).
